Chapter 1322 - 1317: Counterattack: Throw That Bitch Out! (2000+)
Hannah Hargrave made up her mind; no matter how many women Nicholas Croft brought back, she would never give up her place.Back in the day, her father had so many affairs outside, but in the end, wasn’t he defeated by her mother one by one?
As long as she held the Main Palace steady, these immature little girls were no match for her. She had a thousand ways to make them meet a terrible end!
Sophie Foster, even as the reigning queen, was pushed off her throne by Hannah. Does she need to fear these insignificant mistresses?
As evidence shows, arrogant people often don’t stay smug for long.
After lunch, Nicholas Croft and Sophie Foster sat on the couch watching TV, one sitting upright, the other resting on the other’s leg. Sophie kept switching channels with the remote while Nicholas absentmindedly caressed her face with one large hand.
The two regarded Hannah Hargrave, the Main Palace, as if she were air, showing no concern for discretion.
Panda Eyes squatted at Sophie Foster’s feet like a guardian, also watching TV.
Hannah Hargrave knew Nicholas was doing it intentionally, but what infuriated her more was the wretched Panda Eyes. Clearly she was the mistress of the house, having lived there for over half a year, yet this creature barked at her while cozying up to a mistress.
Hannah leaned back in another armchair, arms crossed, eyes narrowed, secretly deciding to deal with both the creature and the mistress!
"Boring!" Sophie Foster grumbled unhappily, tossing the remote onto the coffee table.
Nicholas Croft slightly glanced at Hannah Hargrave with a smirk on his lips.
Retrieving his gaze to Sophie’s face, he gently stroked her cheek and suggested, "How about we go to the room for some exercise?"
Nicholas deliberately elongated his voice, his tone suggestive. Sophie instinctively glanced at Hannah, seeing the barely contained resentment in her eyes, and uttered two words, "Sure."
Nicholas carried Sophie toward the stairs, acting as if Hannah did not exist, with Panda Eyes trailing behind, only to be halted by Nicholas.
"Little beast, don’t follow."
"Woof~" Panda Eyes protested, lifting its head towards Nicholas.
Nicholas continued up the stairs with Sophie, while Panda Eyes wagged its tail and followed, ignoring the man’s warning.
"Panda Eyes, stay downstairs and keep an eye out; don’t let anyone touch my things!"
Sophie looked over Nicholas’s shoulder, and with the mistress’s command, Panda Eyes whimpered, turned, rushing downstairs, barking at Hannah Hargrave. Enraged, she grabbed a cushion and threw it at the creature, which only yelped and ran away.
"Damn beast! I’ll skin you alive!" Hannah Hargrave cursed, grinding her teeth in anger.
Nicholas carried Sophie back to the room, placing her in the swing chair. "Baby, does this make you feel better?"
"Hmph!" Sophie Foster sneered coldly, lightly swaying the wicker beneath her hands, her icy gaze fixed on the view outside; compared to her own plight, what she did was merely a drop in the bucket.
"What more should Daddy do to make Baby happy?" Nicholas leaned beside the swing, squatting down, gazing up at Sophie.
Sophie shifted her gaze to him, just about to speak when the sound of faint footsteps, intentionally muted, came from outside the bedroom door.
Suddenly, Sophie turned her head, her cold eyes sharp. Nicholas followed suit, knowing full well it was Hannah Hargrave eavesdropping.
Sophie abruptly smirked wickedly, got off the swing, and pulled Nicholas onto the bed.
Hannah Hargrave clutched the doorknob tightly, pressing her ear against the door, holding her breath to avoid detection by those inside the bedroom.
While the mistress seemed insignificant to her, if they dared brazenly act under the nose of her as the legitimate wife, she would never allow it.
Once a precedent was set, there would be a second time; she must seize control and never allow such audacious conduct.
Holding her breath for a while, hearing nothing, a sense of foreboding arose, disregarding everything else, Hannah Hargrave pushed open the door, questioning sharply, "Nicholas Croft! What are you doing!?"
At her words, Hannah Hargrave froze.
On the large bed, the man lay flat with bare chest, the woman clad only in a black, seductive bra straddling his waist, a thin blanket covering their crucial parts.
Sophie Foster slowly turned her head toward Hannah, her flawless face void of emotion, lips curling slightly as she spoke coldly, "Can’t you see?"
Beneath the thin blanket, the woman’s nail-polished hand pressed against Nicholas Croft’s firm chest, gazing at Hannah’s pale, bloodless face, slowly rocking up and down, with the man lying flat on the bed, hands encircling the woman’s waist, frowning, teeth gritted in tandem with her rhythm...
The scene before her eyes scorched her vision like flames, wounding the heart that beat wildly beneath her chest.
Hannah’s grip on the handle tightened, her breath visibly rapid, head slightly raised, attempting adjustment, eyes flaming red as she lunged forward.
"You filthy couple! Do you think I’m dead!?" Nicholas just reached out to stop her when Sophie had already retaliated first, extending a long leg to kick Hannah out, simultaneously raising her pretty eyes and voice, calling out, "Panda Eyes!"
"Vile woman! Daring to lay hands on me!" Hannah struggled up from the floor, ready to pounce again, but Panda Eyes had already shot inside rapidly.
"Drive this vile woman out!" At Sophie’s command, Panda Eyes leaped, knocking Hannah to the floor, while she instinctively shielded her face amidst cries.
Suddenly, the woman’s shrieks and dog’s barking merged into chaos; Sophie remained straddling Nicholas’s waist, her cold face unmoved.
Mei and Aunt Wang confused by the ruckus, ran upstairs hastily, shocked by the bedroom scene, mouths agape, Aunt Wang spread her hands as if wanting to intervene but hesitated, muttering in panic, "This..."
"Panda Eyes, come here!" Seeing Hannah punished enough, Sophie scoffed, then turned to Mei, "Mei, call to have this vile woman taken away!"
Panda Eyes ceased its attack on Hannah, obediently jogging to Sophie, gazing up at her, wagging its tail as if seeking commendation.
Mei answered, nudged Aunt Wang, and the two entered the bedroom to lift Hannah up.
"... Vile woman... I won’t let you off..." Hannah was seriously injured by Panda Eyes, clothes torn beyond recognition, body and legs bearing bites, while Sophie raised her chin, like a superior commander, mocking with a cold smile.
"Fine, I’ll be waiting!"
